    Good morning Mike,

I know this may sound like a silly question, and my apologies if it is, but I cannot seem to use the pipe/vertical bar character in Levinux. On Windows, outside of QEMU/Levinux it works fine by using the shift key and the relevant key to produce the | character, but on Levinux it just comes up as ‘<‘ . I have tried a combination of any other keys on the keyboard to no avail, but I appreciate I may have missed it.

    Many thanks,

    Anthony

Oh, sorry, it’s just occurred to me that it would be useful if you knew which type of keyboard I am using! I am in the UK and using a UK based keyboard, with Windows settings being set to standard UK keys. I am guessing this may be part of the problem? If it is, is there a way of changing the keyboard settings inside of Levinux? I have tried looking at the instructions on Tiny Core for doing so, which involves the use of the fi-latin9.kmap file, but when I try to run the instruction to do this it says the file cannot be found.

    Thanks

    Anthony

4 months ago. Sheesh! I have to look here more often… especially if it’s to tell you no, sorry. There is of course a way. I just don’t know it offhand. The answer might be here: http://tinycorelinux.net/faq.html#keyboard
