A story hit the homepage of Digg today where TechSoapBox lambastes Google for going too far. Hmmmm. I wonder on WHICH front they went too far this time? In this case, it’s merely regarding Matt Cutts describing how to report paid links to Google. But the significant part is that in large, mainstream Digg homepage stories like this, the HitTail crowd is right there telling people how to free themselves from their AdWords addiction. User cosequin posted:
To beat out the big boys and target the long tail, use hittail - http://www.hittail.com/
I’ve been using it happily for a month.
It really CAN increase your traffic in small steps, just see their demo, http://www.hittail.com/demo/
Yes, it’s easy to view HitTail as an alternative to AdWords, and a great harbor for people who are getting a little nervous about Google.
