Vivisimo’s web search engine, Clusty, now has a mobile search component.
Clusty Mobile aims to offer a simple way to search from your cell phone, and has been optimized for cell phone navigation. Search results are organized by relevant topics and categories instead of as a list of pages, which could be cumbersome for mobile use. This format is rather similar to Clusty web search, which also organizes search results by “cluster.” Clusty will also optimize the websites you view automatically.
There is a new navigational interface included in Clusty Mobile as well, which shows a list of related topics at the top of the search results page, as suggestions to help users narrow down their search. With Clusty Mobile, you’ll also get featured content shown at the top of your search results, as well as common query items such as stock quotes, wikipedia entries, and weather. Other mobile search tools include Mowser and Tappity, both of which can also provide websites optimized for mobile use.
