Brent Ashley’s JSRS: Ajax before Ajax remembered

by Mike Levin SEO & Datamaster, 07/18/2007

I was into Ajax before Ajax. Probably most noteworthy, and documented, was when I was trying to learn ASP.NET with a rather ambitious project–making an agile framework under .NET. Back in those days, Microsoft was calling this the WebService Behavior. It was obsoleted by Ajax. But I’m making this blog post really just to memorialize the demo (which happily is still there) by Brent Ashley, who showed us the way to doing Ajax-like things without either if the Microsoft methods. He called it JSRS.
